I did it with Zbrush, MAX, and photoshop software.<br />

The swimmer have in total 6.824 tris, and just one map (2048) of Colour, Spec and Normal map for the body, head and the other elements.<br />
<br />
I“ve used references with 3dsk and some books of anatomy for create the body in zbrush. <br />
I have really enjoyed doing this work in particular the modeling and texturing and hope you will enjoy it.<br />

	<title>Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind </title>

Nausicaa is a low poly character created with Zbrush, 3D max and Photoshop software.<br />
<br />
She have 9772 tris and two maps of 2048, one for the complete body and other for the head and the hair, with difusse, spec and normal, and for the head a opacity map as well.<br />
<br />

I did the rifle separately. It has 1379 tris, with a Difusse Spec and Normal maps of 2048. Zbrush was very useful for make all the trimmings and the signs but the shape was defined in max.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is a Japanese animated film from 1984, written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki based on his manga of the same name. The movie narrates the story of Nausicaä, the princess of a small nation who lives in a world devastated by a holocaust called the &quot;Seven Days of Fire&quot;. She tries to stop other warring nations from destroying themselves and from destroying the only means by which their world can be saved from the spread of polluted wastelands.<br />

I tryed to build something hard and eavy, combined with a sweet and light body.<br />
And of course combine something like a futuristic armour whith old katanas. I like this contrast.<br />

	<title>The Alien</title>

For the modeling I used a human facebase made in max, the same base that I used for my last model The Samoan. I have spend almost 2 hours on doing the basic shape, and 2 days more on finishing everything.<br />
<br />
The model is painted with 1.3 millions of polygons in zbrush with polypainting.<br />
And the Render was made in zbrush, mixing some different matcaps like toy plastic for the Specular, Reflected Map for the sky reflexion, and some more... <br />
Finally I assembled all the images in photoshop and the background.<br />

I did a lot of sketches of backgrounds. I was thinking in creating a nice background and to integrate it inside.<br />
 At the end I decided to do something clear because it is an art concept and would be a good idea to focus completely in the character. Finally, I did something like insinuate a corridor. <br />
I like the green tones because they are cool and the green creates the feelings of calm in contrast with the fear and the aggression of the zombie.<br />
